Te Papa

SATURDAY: mum & suzie took me & nel into town while grant & dad did something at home i dont actually know/care about...
we had lunch in the museum, which me & nel paid for. mum & suzie were v.happy about this. also, making the most of it, they took a giant "lump" of chocolate CAKE!

then me & nel went off by ourselves & looked round the museum.
we first saw the colossal squid. it. was. disgusting.
i have seen it before, so i already knew this, but nel was feeling v.violated by the time we left that exhibition.

next out to bush city. over the bridge. down to the cave. then off to discover some dinosaur bones. it was fun. but cold.

back inside. i showed nel the "earthquake experience" i love that part of the museum! she said it wasnt scary, cause she knew it was coming, if she didnt, it probs would have been more frightening.
also, we saw how much danger we would cause if we were earthquake, that was fun.

the kids gift shop next, where i fell in love with a GIANT PENGUIN XD! & we found out what possums look like [sept not really], we thought they were u.g.l.y!

blood earth fire. where we were an alien. not really. but in this game we were. & had to try survive on earth by taking 4 species from our home planet with us. we failed at this quite epicly.

SCOTTS: ofc we had to visit the section about our own home XD they were being waaayyy too stereotypical in there tho, so we decided to show people what REAL scottish people look like. none of this kilt crap! typical scottish people totally wear twin atlantic & team edward tees, haha.

then, where we spent most of our time in the museum, the kids discovery area, lol. we made our own NZ currency, its pretty cool: twilight, carley & renee, twin atlantic, mum & suzie, blackzealand, they were all on there (:

then we found mum & suzie, we went off to the huts, & agreed to meet them for coffee in 5 minutes.
we were more like 15, at least, lol. so we took our shoes off, & went inside the temple hut thingy...
& we found our future home. its pretty snazzy, has a built in fire n'all.

then we went & met mum & suzie & had coffee.

then it was off to meet the guys, & have dinner. chinese, yum!
me & nel then went home, while mum, dad, grant & suzie went to the rugby. altho grant & suzie though they were only going to watch it in the pub. they really had tickets & got to go to the stadium (: twas a nice surprise for them.

when me & nel got home, we pretty much just watched a bunch of mitchell davis videos for several hours. i happy to say nel likes him :'D

i think this may have been the most i have ever used the word "then" in one blog post...
